Licences you will most likely need for your Church, but be sure to read the PDF from the Australian Copyright Council first.
The Australian Copyright Council (http://www.copyright.org.au/) have a guide available for download, specifically aimed at Churches. You can download the PDF from their website here. The information sheet has some common copyright issues that arise for Churches and outlines the ways in which permission can be obtained for use of religious copyright material.
Copyright Licence
This Licence gives permission for churches to:-
- project out lyrics and music.
- print lyrics in service sheets.
- record services on behalf of those unable to attend in person in video or audio format.
- create musical arrangements where no published version exists.

Music Reproduction Licence
This Licence gives permission for churches to:-
- permission to photocopy or scan sheet music (even if the music is no longer in copyright) from a song book, music publication or file.
- share digital sheet music files by email, shared app or cloud.

Video Licence
This Licence gives permission for churches to:-
- show film scenes during a service.
- show full-length films as an outreach or in a social setting.

Performance Licence
This Licence gives permission for churches to:-
- public performance of live music at non-service events like youth groups, choir concert, band performances, social events and Christmas Carol events where no admission is charged.

CD and Digital Music Licence
This Licence gives permission for churches to:-
- play majority of commercially released music, CD and Digital music.
